UN Support of Obama

Apparently the United Nation’s folks are quietly praying for an Obama victory.Â Says John Bolton:

Conservatives who are skeptical of the United Nations said they are not surprised by the political tilt. “The fact is that most conservatives, most Republicans don’t worship at the altar in New York, and I think that aggravates them more than anything else,” said John R. Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. “What they want is the bending of the knee, and they’ll get it from an Obama administration.”

They certainly will.

At An Undisclosed Location in Near Scranton …

… perusing through a friend’s collection of Mitch Rosen holsters, I discovered Bitter is a closet holster sniffer.Â Hardly a holster went by that went unsniffed.Â I have to admit, quality gun leather does smell pretty good.Â My kydex holster smells more like dryer lint in comparison.Â The day planner on the table is actually not a day planner, but a carefully crafted holster that holds my Glock 19 and a spare magazine quite nicely.Â That could come in handy.

He Said What?

I hate Bill O’Reilly with a burning white passion, but a Fox reporter managed to catch up with Bill Ayers, wearing a big red star.Â What he said stunned me:

Well, I suppose the world being described by John Lennon’s words is after Bill Ayer’s reeducation camps take care of our intrepid reporter.

Ask Tom McClintock a Question

Tom McClintock is a California State Senator.Â He’s currently running for Congress in California’s 4th Congressional District, who’s seat is currently occupied by retiring Republican John Doolittle.Â Tom has been a strong advocate for the Second Amendment, and conservative principles in California for a long time.Â He carries an A rating, and an endorsement from the NRA.Â He a good candidate who deserves the support of Golden State gun owners.

I have been offered an opportunity to interview Senator McClintock, and thought I would open up the comments to anyone who wants to ask a question of him.Â I have a few I’m thinking of asking, but if someone comes up with a good one, I’d be happy to include it.

We’re about to possibly elect a president from a political culture who believes Bill Ayers is “no big deal.”Â Just keep that in mind as we head into November.

Careful Apple

Apple is donating 100 grand to a group opposing the anti-gay-marriage initiative, Proposition 8, on the ballot in California this election.Â On this particular issue, I happen to agree with Apple, but I would be wary of a company that donates money to causes.Â What happens when Apple donates 100 grand to oppose a ballot measure, say, recognizing the right to keep and bear arms in the California Constitution?Â I would never buy another Apple product again, to be honest.

Smart corporations stay out of politics for a reason: it alienates people.Â Apple should stick to making great products, and stay out of political fights.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Race

Looks like John Morganelli is trying to run from his record and statements on guns.Â I’m as much concerned by how Morganelli proposes to implement “Lost and Stolen” as I am about the fact that he’s supporting the measure.Â If the AG can regulate that issue under consumer protection measures, what’s to stop him from banning guns?Â Anyone who proposes to do what Morganelli is doing can’t be trusted as Attorney General.Â Gun owners really need to get behind Tom Corbett this election.

You ever have that moment when you type up a really good post – or at least one that you’re really feeling – and then your server goes down?

That would be right now for me. It was a fun post, too.

Oh, and did I mention that I just made an offer to host another excellent blogger this morning? Yeah. Good show, Dreamhost. You guys don’t have an outage for months and now even the panel is down so it can’t be reported.
