He Said What?

I hate Bill O’Reilly with a burning white passion, but a Fox reporter managed to catch up with Bill Ayers, wearing a big red star.  What he said stunned me:

You have to love a communist who says, “This is my property, will you please leave?”  How far the mighty have fallen eh?

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

Well, I suppose the world being described by John Lennon’s words is after Bill Ayer’s reeducation camps take care of our intrepid reporter.

  1. This proves nothing more than the fact that these guys have a great deal of respect for private property, so long as they are the ones holding it. Our guns prevent people like this tyrant from being in charge and taking everything for his own gain. The mantra of “land and property should belong to all people” only lasts as long as it takes for a tyrant to take everything for himself.

  2. Reporter should have been quicker on the feet and asked, “It’s everyone’s property, dumbshit!”

  3. Good observation, there. These guys are all about power and prescribing what’s good for you, but they’ll never do the same for themselves. That’s why, as your previous post was titled, we arm ourselves.

  4. Yep, it’s all sophistry. The only thing they really believe in is power, and anything they actually say is merely in the service of winning the argument. The seed of Protagoras bears dark and malignant fruit to this day.

  6. And the band played Lennon’s “Imagine”
As they prodded us onto the train
    They promised no harm
    If we would but disarm
    Now…
    (you write the last line)
