Interesting. Back in April or so, the NSSF broke down sales (via NICS checks) by state for Jan, Feb, and March of 2009. I hope they do that for all of 2009, as well.
I recall that IL was about 37th in per-capita purchases, while KY was in the lead … and about 3 times higher than the next highest gun-purchasing state of WY.
