The Governor of Connecticut is backing out of engagements at the Capitol because :
Malloy would have had to walk through a raucous crowd of gun protesters who chanted “read the bill!†at lawmakers who passed by in the halls.
Oh, the horror!

It sounds to me like CT gun owners are striking just about the right balance of stridency versus reserve. No property damage has occurred, I gather, (?) yet the polls feel at least a bit nervous about physical threats.
They really don’t fear for their physical safety, they just strike that pose because they know it’s good propaganda.
I clear, when a politician won’t face his constituents he’s no longer acting in anyone’s best interest and it’s time for him to go.
But WE are the ones that are Paranoid?
I just stumbled over the following quote from Bill Ayers:
