The State Police have agreed to stop issuing fines for disorderly conduct for people who swear. Most of them appear to have been issued for people cursing at officers.

The police in Milwaukee, WI started riding the buses undercover. Some guy dropped one f-bomb and one s-bomb apparently during normal conversation, and the officer wrote him a disorderly conduct ticket for $500.
There are a million ways they can work around this “victory”. They can and will arrest anybody they want for any reason they can dream up so long as the definition of disorderly conduct remains so broad.
