Listening to Cam & Company

Even when NRA is in a strict blackout, Cam & Company has to go on. If you think your job is tough, you ought to tune in. Cam’s job is the last on earth I’d want to have right now. I guess the question is when does it go from wisely allowing things to calm down a bit, to unwisely yielding the narrative to the other side? At some point the political fight begins, and we need to see leadership. How can we expect that legislators stand with us, when NRA is nowhere to be seen in the public debate? I don’t pretend to have all the answers. There’s no textbook for this kind of thing.

  1. So you expect the NRA to be totally silent when feinstein introduces a bill to make ALL handguns, ALL semi-auto rifles and ALL magazines over 10 rounds illegal with no grandfathering clause and less than a month to surrender. Mr and Mrs. America, turn them all in.

Doubtful. The attack will come and will come hard. Expect obama to do ALL of the MAIG executive orders. Expect at LEAST 4 AWB attempts this year alone. Expect republicans to start to cave. We may very well be in a fight for the sencong ammendment that will bee on a level unseen and inconceivable. We must be prepared.

If we don’t and you lose faith we WILL become like the place great britian used to be. Except with 1/3 of the total US population instant overnight felons.

If anything I’m wondering when is the best timing to send my letters to my senators and congressman.

  2. Wayne needs to get out in front of this and go after the mental health system and publicly state that this kid was not a member and the NRA does not encourage, recruit, or support the acts of madmen.

  3. I realize its probably a wise choice to let things calm down, but as a member, The NRA absence is unnerving.
I hope they are developing a strategy and a way to deal with this tragedy.
Its extremely unfair to blame the organization for the act of a madman.
I hope we hear from them soon.

    1. One would hope that they would already have a strategy. We have been here before. I am fine with shutting down Facebook and Twitter which are stupid magnets anyway but the organization needs to be acting and not abandoning the field to the enemies of self-defense. And when they do act, I hope that they remember Churchill’s axiom that “wars are not won by retreats”.

  4. I also already wrote to my state reps , and my Senators and Congressmen, letting them know I expect them to uphold the 2nd Amendment.

I’m lucky they are all pro gun in the area I live in. The only one I have doubts about is Sen.Casey.

  5. Thank you to those who have written their reps. I have doubts about Casey too. The only thing that will keep him in line is pressure.

  6. EXCELLENT SHOW, I AM AN AVID HUNTER AND SHOOTING SPORTS ENTHUSIAST. CAM IS EXCELLENT WITH STATISTICS… I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM COMPARE GUN DEATHS VS. DEATHS DUE TO DISTRACTED DRIVING EACH YEAR. MOST EVERY ONE IS “ARMED” WITH A HAND HELD CELL PHONE ON THE ROAD THESE DAYS. GUESS YOU COULD CALL AN AUTO AN ASSAULT WEAPON IN THE HANDS OF A CLULESS DRIVER. WE SHOULD BAN HAND HELD CELL PHONES NATIONWIDE!! I AM FAR MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE CLOWN DRIVING TOWARDS ME THAN I AM ABOUT GUN VIOLENCE. I WAS FORTUNATE TO BE EDUCATED ABOUT FIREARM SAFETY BY DAD AND BOY SCOUTS . WE NEED MORE EDUCATION, MORE ENFORCEMENT OF CURRENT, NOT MORE LAYERS OF USELESS GUN LAWS.

    KEPP GETTING THE MESSAGE OUT!

  7. The next time someone asks you why an AR15 with a 30Rnd mag. Ask them if they could put 10 foot tall 1000Lb men on their offensive line, would they do it? OVERMATCH!!!!

  8. Saw Wayne LaPierre tonight. EXCELLENT! I support his every word!!!

When will Obama and the anti-gunners realize that we gun owners are a fundamental part of the United States of America? Without us we would not be where we are today, that is, where THEY can question the very fabric of this country! This country was built on guns, but more importantly on the individual Americans who have the courage to stand up to an oppressive administration, whether British or Socialistic!

When Obama can reduce the gun violence in Chicago, I will listen to what he has to say. Until then, I follow my own conscience, and the history of this country.

    NO NEW FIREARMS LAWS!

I am a veteran, a former police office, and an avowed supporter of this country and its Constitution! Can Obama say the same?
