The latest check. I’d be OK with sending Rahm a hat, and considering the magnitude of the donations, I think a letter from Chris Cox would be nice too. I’m sure that can be arranged for high donors like Rahm.

It’s good that they were reimbursed for legal fees, but from a political standpoint it doesn’t mean much. Governments (especially NYC) get sued all the time. Politicians don’t care because it isn’t their money.
Well, it’s gotta at least irritate them some, afterall the money they can extort from their subjects is a finite amount, so anything you can do to drain that amount somewhat has to be felt to some extent.
