  1. American Guitar factories have been using Indian rosewood for their fingerboards since the beginning of time. I have my unregulated Gibson right next to me!

  2. “In 2009, more than a dozen agents with automatic weapons invaded the Gibson factory in Nashville…”

Yeah, wouldn’t want your nice, shiny new SWAT team to go to waste–gotta raid SOMEBODY! Talk about overkill.

  3. Probably going to send the guitars to the Mexican drug cartels as part of operation “Frets and Furious”…

  4. Markie Marxist sez: “Funny how we Marxists are always finding ways to shut down capitalism. Attacking capitalism at its intake, where it takes in raw materials, with our “environmentalist” approach has been very successfull. In fact, we created a whole federal agency to do just that – our “EPA”. Mining, drilling, logging, fishing, grazing – whatever capitalism needs to take in to function, it can’t be allowed to do because of “the environment”. That works for US! Of course, once we bring US industry to its knees and nationalize it, we’ll take whatever we please from the environment, just like we did in the good ol’ USSR. Ha! Ha! All your environment are belong to us!”

  5. I think we need an Affordable Guitar Act since obviously the unregulated private sector is unable to provide guitars without abusing people.

  6. Said Affordable Guitar Act including government made guitars of course, because the private sector needs competition.
