  1. This is amazing. Check the below quote. They are basically saying if 10 people are legally carrying guns, it may make it hard to know who had the gun the campers said they may have seen. This is the old “have gun, will kill” argument dressed in new clothes.

The Campaign said that if dozens of students and faculty had been armed on Virginia Tech’s campus, law enforcement’s ability to investigate the campers’ claims “would have been complicated and innocent people might have been harmed.”

“If the Attorney General’s interpretation is allowed to stand, then many Virginia campuses could be regularly subject to people with guns roaming the campus, and law enforcement would be powerless to stop them — until they start shooting,” the Campaign said in a statement. “Just as we saw with the Tucson shooter, our weak gun laws, particularly our lax regulation of guns in public places, make it easy for people with evil intentions to walk into sacred public spaces with guns and cause disruption, confusion, and hysteria at the very least, while being free at the worst, to commit murder.”

  2. “…law enforcement’s ability to investigate the campers’ claims ‘would have been complicated…”

Translation: “Your constitutional rights must be prohibited because they can be inconvenient for the government.”

“…and innocent people might have been harmed.”

Translation: “If you carry a gun, our government agents might just up and kill you.”
That’s the Brady Campaign’s way of insinuating a lethal threat against gun owners.
The Brady Campaign is one valid definition of “evil”.

They could start by looking for a white guy with brown hair, a blue and white vertically striped shirt, shorts, and flip-flops, carrying something wrapped in a cloth. The black guy wearing a dress shirt and slacks probably doesn’t need to be stopped.

The Bradys are idiots, pure and simple. I wonder if they realize that the cops get descriptions of ‘suspects’ from callers for a reason?

  4. Markie Marxist sez: “See! The private keeping and bearing of arms is such an affront to the authority of the Marxist state that it merits a massive, law enforcement response, even if it’s legal! Ha! Ha! Legality is no excuse for contradicting Marxist values! Look at what we’ve done to the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment. We turned it into the crime of gun possession. We don’t let little things like the Bill of Rights get in our way! Cross us, Mister, and rights or no rights, you’re going to jail! It’s we commies who are running this country, not the Constitution. It’s just an old, dead document anyway, or a living, breathing one, depending on what’s convenient for us at the moment. When we can use it like a hand puppet to get what we want out of it, then it’s a living breathing document, and when we can’t get what we want out of it, then it’s just old and dead. We’re very sensible in our approach like that. It’s just common communist sense, really.”
