Under the Radar

Apparently Obama is working on gun control, according to one gun control advocate. But it’s under the radar. So far under the radar we don’t know what’s happening apparently. Maybe we won’t even know when it’s done.

It would be pretty amusing if the Administration is just stringing them along until the 2012 elections.

  1. What happened to those wonderful editors that newspapers love to tout as a reason they are better than bloggers?

  2. According to the article, Jim and Sarah Brady visited Capital Hill on March 30, the 30th anniversary of the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan; to push for a ban on “large magazines.”

Right, like the “large magazine” that was used to make Jimmy wear adult diapers? Oh, wait. That was a revolver wasn’t it?

Apparently if you’re a law-abiding citizen in the US, you have no right to own a firearm, but if you’re a Mexican drug cartel involved in a civil war, the ATF will go out of its way to ensure you can get the guns you need. For all their lip service on keeping criminals away from guns, I haven’t heard a peep from the Brady Bunch about this btw.

  3. Not a conspiracy nut (yet) but so much deception about major and minor things (Obama doesn’t do “silliness” but he’s burned several years and more money I ever got close to making in two decades to bury his birth certificate) comes out of the regime, I would hardly be surprised if something fully formed suddenly appeared, like Venus on the half-shell, but with horns and a tail and dimensionally…ah, let’s not go there…

It likely would be as thought-out as Harry Reid’s latest oil company tax gambit, which fits with the “too clever by half” theme so beloved by this crew.

  4. I think we’re relatively safe (at the federal level) as long as the economy is front and center. Obama doesn’t have the luxury of wasting time on other things until that plate is clear.
