Dove’s with a bacon wrap are pretty good, but do a liver taste.
I make mine ……. wrap the breast around a jalapano then wrap the bacon around that and then grill it. One little breast is a full meal.
I know God made doves for eating because getting to the breast meat is so easy. pinch and pull.
I have been hunting dove since first grade and they are quite yummy.
Is it ok to feed them to your cats? Your raccoons? Your rabid PETA member chained in a doghouse?

I eat mine with bacon too, and a light bbq sauce. My Sweetie prefers quail though and usually passes on the doves. Dove is even easier to cook badly than duck. That’s how the myth that no one eats them got started… so some folks wouldn’t feel bad about feeding them to the cat ;-)
Another way to have them is bread them and fry them like chicken TASTY!!!
