Kind of a last minute thing, but I will be attending the Gun Blogger Rendezvous IV next week out in Reno, Nevada.  So last minute I’m worried my registration won’t make its way through the postal system to Mr. C before he actually heads out there.  My job situation has been less than secure (who’s isn’t these days?), so I’m reluctant to make big commitments of money far in advance.  But it looks good for now, so I can go.
BTW, the raffle for the Para GI Expert ends today, so if you want a chance to win the gun, you have to buy a ticket before midnight. Â You don’t have to be going to GBR to win. Proceeds benefit Soldiers’ Angels.

I almost flew into San Francisco instead of Reno because I could get a direct flight. But thank God for Southwest.

BTW, raffle ticket sales only closes tonight for ON LINE ticket sales. Raffle tickets will still be sold (a lot I suspect) at the Rendezvous. If you attend the Rondy and buy a ticket, you not only have a chance at the Para GI 1911, or the Front Sight 4 dat training class, you also have a chance at a whole bunch of other stuff, including a “Gun Rights” Para, a Hi-Point 9mm carbine, and a lot more.

I had already committed to going to the Gun Rights Policy conference in St. Loius. (We’ve got family there so it’s going to become an family vacation as well.)
If I had more budget, I’d go to the Rendezvous…maybe next year.
