  1. I’m no expert on Con law but I seem to remember from studying for the bar exam that changing the law to frustrate a constitutional challenge doesn’t work when the changes can easily be abandoned after the threat of a suit goes away.

  2. So they re-work their laws a few days after a suit is filed. Think about that; a court date isn’t even set, and they’re already cowering. The slippery slope is under the other foot now… Hellerlujah!

  3. Maybe they meant they were gonna re-work their Lawyers – like with a few crowbars – it’s Chicago after all. Or maybe they’re gonna re-work the Justices who hear the case, with some upstate lakeshore property and the fitting of cement boots…
