I’d be mad as hell. Having an M.D. after your name doesn’t give someone an excuse to be a condescending busy body. Puritanism is alive and well in The Bay State, and it would seem gun ownership is the new scarlet letter.

I thought a good doctor believed in confidentiality, not gossip. There is no excuse for crap like that.
This is supposed to be nationwide, though doctors in most states have more sense. I would get more than mad. I would get more than a new doctor. I’d get a lawyer and go after him for breaking doctor patient/confidentiality. The quickest way to end this nonsense is to win one suit for malpractice and have the insurance companies make this an exemption to coverage.
