Comment Bitch – ‘All that jargon about “freedom†and the 2nd Amendment are completely misunderstood. The country already has a well-regulated militia. More than one, actually. The military, existing police departments, for starters.’
Response – Militia has two federal definitions : 1) Coast Guard and the National Guard, and 2) every male between the ages of 17 and 44 not part of #1 (the later needs to be updated to include women). And to me a 30 minute response time (even a 15 minute response time) for the police isn’t acceptable. A ‘ell of a lot can happen in that time.
Why is it that lawful citizens have to know this crap better than the twits that want to restrict/remove our rights? Maybe if Prozac was added to the worlds Perrier supply things would be better…
