Where Would Gun Control Be …

… if it wasn’t for rich assholes?

New York City’s billionaire mayor said Wednesday he will fund a super PAC to help candidates who favor gun control in local, state and federal elections nationwide. A person familiar with the plans put the commitment at $10 million to $15 million.

That’s pocket change for Bloomberg. But the guy didn’t make his money by being a moron. He may be a tyrannical nanny-stater, but he’s sharp, and that’s what makes him the biggest threat to our rights out there.

  1. Yep, I was right. Mickey has decided to take over the Anti-Freedom Movement.

So I wonder where that leaves Japete, Ladd, et.al.?

  2. Gee, I thought he already called had a vehicle for funneling money to those folks called MAIG. He was contributing big bucks to the re-election campaigns of mayors he had never worked with before because they were members of MAIG.

  3. So, here’s the plan. You heard it here first.

Anyone who gets a penny from Mike Bloomberg goes on the election blacklist as a gun banner. If Mikey wants to brand them anti-gun, we just make sure that everyone knows they are anti-gun.

Money doesn’t buy votes. In this case, it’ll cost votes. Who cares if he feeds the inevitable reelection of Chuck U Shumer and Nancy Pelosi. We need to make sure that when he tries to give money to some moderate Dem in middle America that pol tells him “F-You, Bloomie!” Those pols need to know that any other response besides that will cost them their jobs.

  4. Geez, Sean, I was planning to get some money from him to run for city council! I’m a big believer in gun control! Never shoot a gun that is too big for you to control! Practice so that you hit what you intend to.
That’s the essence of gun control in the land of the free and the home of the brave, why shouldn’t I get money from this guy?
