It’s Memorial Day, and CNN is educating people about the holiday.  Good. I note that Google once again doesn’t see it as a holiday fit for noting.

If you go to Google’s “Classic” home page (not iGoogle), there is a yellow ribbon underneath the search box. I don’t know why they don’t do a special logo like they do for so many other days.
Yippy fricking skippy.
That’s why I generally tend to use DogPile. While they use google, and every other major search engine for that matter, the home page of DogPile almost always does a “fitting” tribute to the holidays.
