That would be him. Steele was not my first choice, but he was not my last choice either. The question is whether he’s a competent administrator and fundraiser. Since RNC chair does not set policy, I’m not as concerned about his stances on the issues, just whether or not he can run the party.
The only reason this guy got elected is because the big wheels of the GOP thought they had to counter Obama with a moderate,republican, black man of their own. It certainly wasn’t for his conservative beliefs. If that was the case, Ken Blackwell would have been elected.
The RNC is always hassling me to join them, I just called them(202-863-8500) and said after choosing another centrist Dem to run the RNC who thinks the 2A is about hunting, FORGET IT!!
