Republicans Sue to Overturn McCain-Feingold
I agree with Bucks Right, this should have been done a year ago. My guess is McCain would have thrown a temper tantrum, though.

Didn’t the NRA and other political lobbying organizations try this way back in 2002? And wasn’t it upheld by the US Supreme court?
It was, but the court has powerfully hinted that they would be willing to reconsider McConnell. I think there’s a good chance they’d be willing to overturn their precedent.
