Bloomberg Looking to Run?

He’s certainly putting out messages that would indicate he’s thinking about it. The real question is who is he going to spoil? It’s possible the hope is he’ll pull away enough independent voters from the GOP to help out the Democrats in 2012. But polling has shown people don’t like Bloomberg all that much, and his close margin of victory for his third term runs shows even New Yorkers are tiring of him. The idea that he’s a serious contender is a non-starter, but that’s not to say he can’t be a spoiler. It’s worth nothing that Bill Clinton won two terms with a plurality.

  1. I don’t believe he’s serious about running for President. I think he does stuff like this every so often just to draw attention to himself.

  2. Great article on Bloombert cause the voters really don’t like any of the candidates nowadays. They are fed up with all the campaign promises/lies.

Just read a new book about Americans taking a stand & I’ll be giving it out this holiday cause it’s also about each of us. It’s a thriller I really recommend.

There will be spoilers to hurt other candidates which shows how corrupt our election system has become. Great article. Thanks.

  3. He ran as a Republican because he couldn’t get into the Democratic machine in NYC. Says something, but all I get is “Drink more ovaltine”.

  4. Plurality is correct since Hilterly’s squeeze got the most votes but not the majority.

Bloomy is the type of egomaniac that would repeal the term limits on the Presidency so he could run for more terms.

  5. Bloomberg’s problem with running for POTUS is that he’s a New Yorker, but he’s not American. Maybe he could run for President of Latvia or some place like that. He’d be a shoo in for President of East Germany if that was an option. How about China? Perhaps the Peruvians would imagine that he was one of them. Who knows, who cares.

  6. Who the Hell would vote for him west of the Hudson? He couldn’t even win NY State.

A virulent anti-gun, closeted homosexual, nanny-state know-it-all isn’t going to steal Republican votes.

He’s too big business and moderate to steal votes from the left. That leaves him a pretty slim segment of the population to draw from.

  7. Well he can run his pedophile ass into the hudson river with cement shoes on and dry off in hell!
