Stopping Power

Don Kates, civil rights attorney and Second Amendment litigator, has a useful addition to the tired of debate about stopping power. Mainly that it’s a tired old debate.

Good article that rings very true.

I have seen a called no-reflex pistol shot against the training screen at Fort Dix (by a SF sniper).

I have also seen real stopping power – a deer struck center-mass with a 105mm HEAT round – the red mist stopped in its tracks.

I, for one, agree with this completely.

So let’s talk about which is better. 7 shots from a 45, or 15 from a 9mm?!? (Just kidding)

The one your most accurate with is the best. You automatically have zero stopping power if you miss.
