  1. Many’s the time I’ve had my head almost explode in rage at treacherous judges who put their own short-sighted opinions ahead of their oath to uphold the constitution…and many’s the time I’ve wished death or disability upon them while in the throes of that rage. BUT, to give vent publicly as this guy has done does our side damage. With that said, I wonder if people like him may make public officials consider just how seriously we hold our beliefs – and in so doing actually help our side gain gravitas if not actual credibility. The old saying is one person says it while ten are thinking it. I want to be civil in this ‘discussion’ but the other side has no boundaries they won’t cross to get their way. I’m just sayin’.

  2. As much as I wish we could just lock up all the white supremacists and throw away the key, this prosecution sounds pretty weak. Based on the limited facts of the article, it sounds like he merely expressed a general desire that someone die. While abhorent, absent more it is protected speech. I’m not a lawyer, but the maps/directions push it into a bit of a grey area, but I still doubt that it was specific enough to get past his first amendment rights. The government is always trying to push the bounds of permissible speech back, and its important that they not sucseed.

If he did something more specific, such as saying he was going to actually kill them, or telling a specific individual/group ‘go there and kill them’, then sure its a crime… but the facts in the article just aren’t enough imo.

  3. I haven’t looked at the details of the case, so my judgment here is probably a bit premature… but I don’t have a whole lot of time for these types of people.

  4. If the “hate crime” law passes, look for a lot more of these unconstitutional arrests to occur against people far less opprobrious than this pathetic fellow – namely people like us!

  5. Voolf, I’d like to compliment you on your “extremely moderate” comment on a most immoderate subject. See, I can’t do that. What Chris Rock said about OJ.
