Bucks Right notices that the unemployment rate, so far, seems to be tracking worse than the Obama Administration predicted it would track without the Stimulus plan that puts our kids in debt up to their eyeballs.

The Obamessiah believes in it, so it must work! But this socialist gabage didn’t work when FDR forced it on us, and it won’t work now.
Unemployment has climbed BECAUSE of the stimulus – just as the Depression continued until FDR died BECAUSE of the New Deal tax and spend craziness.
Business are not investing or expanding – they are hiding and hoarding their funds. Tax increases are coming at us like a freight-train that will smash all growth in its path.
Government interference in the economy never, ever leads to prosperity.
It continued until World War II. FDR died shortly before the war was over. I’m not defending his policies, just that it was World War II that ended the depression, not FDR dying.

No, it continued until he died. WWII just allowed him to put men in uniform and offshore unemployment. Once FDR was dead and gone, non-defense businesses could actually plan and invest.
Nothing lowers unemployment rates like millions of deaths. Hey! It worked for the Soviet Union! Kinda. Nothing like a purge here and there and a few man-made famines or droughts to spur economic recovery. “We’ll teach those damn farmers!”
The Great Depression wasn’t over until Eisenhower was elected and began to reverse New Deal Era follies. WWII did not end the Great Depression. WWII was the single most expensive undertaking endured by human kind in the history of the world, and America’s most expensive adventure ever, at least until Obama took office.
