Criminals on the Right to Bear Arms

Because what they think apparently matters.  At least the WaPo seems to think so.

why would they refer to the inmates as “students” in the 2nd to last paragraph?

i still stand by the assertion that if they are too dangerous to own a gun, they should be locked up until they are no longer such a danger…

Reading the comments, it’s pretty clear how the gang bangers can fire 100 shots in a drive by and only hit innocent bystanders.

I’ve stated in the past that I’d accept the support of ANYONE (be they hunters, pistol-shooters, gays, vegetarians, French citizens—whatever) who enjoyed shooting, and wanted to promote the sporting or self-defensive use of firearms. This isn’t quite true, however… I don’t want the ‘support’ of career criminals, and I wouldn’t use anything they said or did to try and bolster my viewpoint (Aside from noting that if they WANT gun control, it might be a good idea to explore the reason for that, and head in the other direction).
Apparently, the antis don’t share this scruple.
