I don’t carry a gun because I felt like spending hundreds of dollars on a piece of paper from the government, being fingerprinted and probed, and forced to deal with 4th amendment violations that would drive the ACLU nuts if it were involving anything but a firearm, just to follow an obscure law you’ve never heard of.
I carry a gun because there are people out there who don’t obey that law.
