Choosing to rob gun shops is one such poorly thought out career choice.  What’s surprising to me was he wasn’t wearing the firearm on his person. I don’t know any gun shop owners around here that don’t do that.

We had a range in the Tampa area that had a guy rent a gun then take hostages.
The employees had recently been told not to wear their guns.
Go figure.
And I was just informed by another PuSH’er that criminals aren’t stupid in general.
Even here in Soutern Kalifornistan, the gun store operators wear sidearms. Were I them, I would also keep a pump-action 12 gauge with shot in it behind the counter as well, but that is just me.
In other news, holy crap that guy was stupid.
One of my favorite gun stores used to have a sign on the door that read: “Please unload gun and remove ski mask before entering”
And yes, the proprietor always wore at least one gun.
