Obama Will Overreach

Dave Hardy reports that David Keene, who’s NRA’s 2nd Vice President, thinks Obama is going to overreach.  I think it’s a safe assumption.  Let’s hope we’re well beyond arms length for Obama.

Hear, hear. Although we have the right to keep and bear arms, none of us, including Obama, has a right to overreach with them.

If this new administration overreaches in a substantial fashion, it will be very difficult for them. The balancing act they must perform is the act of the century. Was just discussing with some very liberal friends that Obama has very, very high expectations to meet. They certainly agreed, and were in some ways quite worried about that.

He is, after all, only human.

    We shall see.

    Arms length? [ Sorry, I don’t want a visit from a certain federal agency – Seb ]

Be very careful what you say, guys, for the next four years. The Secret Service is going to have to not take any chances at all with Obama’s security, so you can bet they’ll investigate anything that could even be possibly construed as a threat.

And before anyone gets on the bandwagon about reduced freedoms, keep in mind that every single big gun control push for the past half century has happened as a result of assassinations. We want the Secret Service to be proactive. Yes, it might be an intrusion on liberty, but worse will follow if someone gets the wrong idea and the worst actually happens.
