Congress has no right, much less responsibility, to regulate an inalienable right enumerated in the Bill of Rights. Any questions?
When did people start thinking that RIGHTS “need” to be regulated? I rather thought the entire concept of a RIGHT was that it couldn’t be regulated.
Which leads to the bigger question… why do people keep electing imbeciles like this?
Congressman Shays needs to resign himself from public office. Congress does not regulate the people; the PEOPLE regulate Congress. Where the hell does he get the idea that the government Of the People, For the People and By the People have any power to regulate THE People’s Rights?
Why have Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John and Samuel Adams not come back from the dead to arrest for treason and executed these..these POLITICIANS(sarc)
Sorry to contradict you, Congressman Shays, but congress has a responsibility to not infringe that right. Try reading the Constitution you took an oath to uphold and protect.
