Looks like Hazel Township relented on their illegal park ordinance. Articles here, and here. The open carry cookout proceeds, but in the cold rain and wind of October, rather than July as originally planned.

I applaud your dedication in this situation. Just more proof that the good guys do win….sometimes.
It’s not my dedication. I’m just reporting other people’s work.
For the record – they didn’t “allow” anything. They merely recognized that they had absolutely no authority to do anything to interfere with our plans.
They still refuse to remove the rule from the rental application, and still assert that carry in the park is a violation of §912, though apparently they don’t feel strongly enough about it to actually report it to the PSP.
This situation has not yet reached a final resolution.
