A Lesson in Tolerance

Jennifer shares the tale of the day her son learned about no tolerance rules the hard way. I read it in a lesson on just how tolerant Jennifer is of idiots.

I know I could not have restrained my laughter. I also would have advised the vice principal to take me off of speaker phone to let him know exactly what I thought about the situation. But then again, I have little tolerance for the public education system as a whole.

  1. Oh no worries. The Vice Principal will be hearing from me. Beyond being on speaker phone, I find giving someone an earful while I am at work is generally not conducive to office politics either.

  2. “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Push back – hard.

  3. And just to clarify, I did not mean to imply you would do nothing. I just still think you’re more restrained than I would be. :)

Even when I was in high school, I had most school officials scared to death that I had enough dirt to sue them. Which, I did. :)

  4. Bitter, I didn’t think you were implying that. ctd seemed to misunderstand. Although I would have preferred not to be so restrained, the situation called for it. And the kiddo is aware of the rules. They may be stupid rules, which will be addressed, but they are still the rules.

  5. I’m in trouble now!! I shoot the dog at least once a day, with my finger gun. PLEASE… Don’t tell PETA.

PS: I must be a lousy shoot. The dog is still with us.
