Based on a recommendation from another blogger, I decided to add bevlog to my regular reads to see what they had to offer. If you read their “about” section, you might find it’s a very odd topic to follow: “bevlog reviews almost all of the 100,000+ beer, wine and spirits labels approved by TTB each year. We try to bring you the most noteworthy.”

My family roots in PA began when Heinrich Christian Mercklen settled near what is now Virginville in the early 1700s, it is quite near both Blue Ball and Intercourse. He had 17 children. William Penn certainly must have mixed up the land grants as he should have lived in Intercourse as Blue Ball and Virginville were both highly inappropriate!
Oh my. I never knew there was a Virginville. I wish I had grown up here. I had a pen pal, and I would have had a lot of fun traveling to this towns to mail the letters so I could get them cancelled in each of the cities.
