Machine Guns & Public Television

I noticed this story about a Friends of NRA event in the midwest that gave donors the opportunity to shoot one of the Gatling guns that Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders used at San Juan Hill plus some machine guns, and I had to say that I’m impressed a public television program actually aired the event in Milwaukee.

This is one of those opportunities that makes our anti-gun opponents cringe – men, women, and children have huge smiles on their faces as they fire round after round into the berm.

  1. There are almost 700k individual deer licenses sold each year in our lovely state. There are approximately 5.7 million people living in our state. That means that 12.3% of the entire population of the state buys a deer hunting license. Union democrats and conservative republicans hunt around here. If you drive around the countryside during the gun season, you’ll see trucks parked on the side of the road and orange blazers roaming the fields. It’s just part of our DNA around here, and I love it!
