US A No Show at UN Arms Trade Treaty?

Apparently Obama didn’t send anyone to sign us on, but the Administration is hinting that it will sign on later after the translation.

“We look forward to signing it as soon as the process of conforming the official translations is completed satisfactorily,” U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said today in a statement.

We’ve been closely following the activities of OFA, and it’s telling that gun control hasn’t been on the agenda now for several weeks. Makes you wonder just how dedicated Obama is to his gun control agenda. If he feels like he has bigger fish to fry, that’s fine with me.

  1. With this administration, this could be chalked up to simple, typical incompetence. Oops!

More importantly, we need to contact our US senators about ratification. I have senators Klobuchar and Stuart Smalley, so that is probably a lost cause; but I’ll do it anyway.

    1. They know exactly what they are doing..

This is about disarming U.S. citizens..

    1. That’s the point Amnesty made. They basically said that because the Senate has already effectively voted on the issue, there’s no rush by the Administration at the moment.

  2. I guess treachery and being a traitor takes a little bit of time to put together. Given the Senate has said NO! and the Second Amendment says NO! and that the POTUS swore an oath to defend the Constitution, I say it rises to the level of impeachable offense.

  3. No matter if 100 senators sign this UN Treaty it comes
back to the same thing…..IT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!

A form of Treason would be signing a treaty that would
    eventually disarm the U.S. citizen..
