   Good response by NJ gunners, but a small objection. There is controversy regarding Exodus 22:2-3. Verse 3 seems to indicate that killing to protect only property may not be justified. At night, when an intruders intentions are indiscernible, immediate application of lethal force is justified. But during daylight, when intentions may be more evident, some argue verse 3 permits only commensurate force against the intruder. The text is not clear to me.
