The last time I was at Ft Campbell (last summer), I had to get a temporary permit for my pistol at the pass ans ID office in order to take it on base.

Unloaded, ammo separate, etc, but I could have it in the car. I could have also gotten a full time permit, but I don&#039;t go there often enough to justify that.

That being said, the only time anyone has a gun at base is to go to the range. Or, like me, travelling armed. There isn&#039;t a &quot;carry culture&quot; there, that&#039;s for sure.</description>
