A 22LR version could be designed and built, but it would likely only pick up 22LR and similar small items, like cigarette butts.

The device is a pecan picker-upper. It is used in pecan groves to gather pecans off the ground during harvest, before the squirrels get them.

We have one at our IDPA club. Works well on the 9s .40s and .45s but I thing the .22 is going to be to small based upon the size of the spaces between the basket wires.

Ok. You've teased us with the toy.
Now, what's it called, where do I find one, & how much is it?

Several people use them at matches I attend. Unless they have a very small version, I'd say .22 rimfire brass is below the level of case that they'd pick up reliably. 9mm/.380 is about the lower limit.

But they work GOOD at that.
