Hmmm… having read the article, I wonder if there was follow-up questions about whether he could leave the US Flag up if he took the Pirate flag down. Of course, it could be argued that he was violating the US Flag code because he was using it as a decoration. (that’s tongue in cheek BTW.) And I suspect that the female clerk the lawyer approached was unaware about what was going on regarding the flag.
