  1. Holy Crap!, he’s going to use a buffalo round on a deer? Geez. The largest I’d go is a 7mm Rem. Mag. but even that’s too much for a deer. I’ve since gotten a .243 Win. rifle for my next deer season.

  2. Jesus Christ, do the deer wear body armour where he hunts. The biggest I have ever used was a .30-06, ussually a .270 Rem.

  3. The only rifles you can use to hunt deer in Indiana are muzzleloaders — well, unless they’re on your property (that may or may not be legal, but it’s the way it works there).

  4. “Is there really any such thing as too much? :)”

Well, if you want to be able to enjoy eating the deer as much as shooting it, yeah, there is such a thing as too much (caliber).

  5. That’s way over kill. Sure, the deer ain’t gonna suffer, but that’s gonna ruin a lot of meat.
