    I believe it is a Warner.

    It’s a bloop tube* (that glues on the end of the barrel, rather than clamping on), with a big front sight (possibly one of these), and probably some weights around the bloop tube for standing.

    *a tube that allows the sight to be mounted further out, allowing for a longer sight radius.

    Sporting purpose, hunting purpose, defense purpose…..any legitimate reason you can think of there will be people who question it, albeit stupid people, but people none the less.

    That’s why the second AWB proposal included that use of a rifle in sport does not qualify it for “sporting purposes”.
