Aha, what I’ve been wanting to see the entire time. On the one hand, Vanderboegh overreacted to what the author probably meant. On the other hand, he wasn’t overreacting to the literal text, since any situation in which all guns must be registered would pretty much require door to door searches in order to be effective.
