One look told me everything. For Bennie, this isn't a matter of safety or not. It is not a pro-gun or anti-gun thing. It is a black-white race issue. Those nasty Georgia legislators are telling his friend Shirley Franklin how to run HER city. The legislators are white and Shirley is black. For some politicians that is all they see and he is one of them. Oh, and by the way, he is rated unsurprisingly F by the NRA. Not imagining your average Congressman from Mississippi could be anti-gun and stay in office, I checked his House website. One look told me everything.
