This isn't quite true, however... I don't want the 'support' of career criminals, and I wouldn't use anything they said or did to try and bolster my viewpoint (Aside from noting that if they WANT gun control, it might be a good idea to explore the reason for that, and head in the other direction). Apparently, the antis don't share this scruple.
