These people (supposedly) aren't stupid, they KNOW what happens when countries disarm their people ! The most oppressive regimes in history have one thing in common: citizen disarmament. It happened in Russia during the communist revolution, it happened in Nazi Germany, China, various African nations, ad nauseam. It's the same thing happening in Britain and Australia/ New Zealand---albeit a bit more slowly---right now. The gun-banners KNOW these things---they read the papers, they read the reports, they see the same news that you and I do. And yet they continue the push to disarm the 'commoners'...why? Either these people fit the classic definition of 'crazy' (trying the same failing approach time after time, and expecting different results); or they WANT crime to rise: more rape, robbery, kidnapping, murder and mayhem, for whatever reason. I suspect the latter, and it scares the crap out of me. The mere thought of some UN-overseen, one-world government gives me the Industrial Heebie-Jeebies. The USA ought to have no part of the UN. My stance:
