Obamamania

And to think, this University of Houston professor gets to shape young minds:

At Poe Elementary School, near Rice University, Marc Zimmerman, a 69-year-old University of Houston professor, said he voted for Obama, noting that the excitement surrounding the Illinois senator was contagious.

“I like being caught up in the wave,” he said.

Caught up in The Wave?   You mean like this one?

  1. Reminds me of sheep; you get a couple of old ewes moving and most of the rest sort of tag along behind them.

  2. The Third Wave – wow… – I remember hearing about that. I went to a different Palo Alto school, but it was definitely hushed-up just as it definitely ties into the Liberal Fascist nexus. Cubberly was seen as somewhat more laid-back and sports-oriented (Fascist-football) than us who tended to lose games. Just for perspective, my Sophomore year American History teacher spent the better part of a semester explaining to us, using as a backdrop the Civil War’s supply-and-demand conflation of Northern Industry v.s Southern Slavery, that Capitalism would soon collapse and fail and that Socialism would ultimately prevail.

  3. Odd, a writer named George Fitzhugh defended Southern slavery and called it the ultimate form of socialism…
